Assistant Professor (Lecturer), Department of Economics and the Integrative Interdepartmental Program in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

I'm an economist with research interests in Economic History, Political Economy, and Cultural Economics. I combine historical data with quasi-experimental research designs to shed light on the interplay of institutions, culture, and economic development.

Prior to joining the faculty at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, and an M.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from the Hebrew University.
